Death of a Good Citizen

In the death of Mr. Jacques Arnaud, which occurred in Arnaudville Friday, 
February 4th, 1910, this parish lost one of its good, honest, sturdy citizens.

Mr. Arnaud was a prominent in the business and political word of that section 
for many years. He served as Justice-of-the-Peace and member of the parish 
Democratic Executive Committee many terms, and only retired when he became 
enfeebled by age.

Deceased was 69 years of age at the time of his death. He was interred in the 
Catholic cemetery at Arnaudville Saturday, after the rites of the Catholic 
church had been performed.

He leaves a wife and one child, the latter Geo. Arnaud.
