DIED. - At the residence of her husband, in Chataignier, on Saturday, Dec. 
9th, 1893, of childbirth, Mrs. Pauline Fontenot, wife of Arthur Aucoin, aged 
16 years, 4 months and 6 days.

Deceased was a daughter of Mr. Zenon S. Fontenot and a neice (sic) of 
Sheriff Fontenot. It is indeed sad that this young life should be taken 
away, at the dawn of maternity and in the flower of noble womanhood when the 
future seemed so bright; but we all bow in humble submission to the decrees 
of an all-wise and just Providence. To the heart-broken husband and 
relatives we tender our most sincere sympathy.
