Creamer marykcreamer@yahoo.com August 17, 2015, 9:24 pm St. Landry Clarion (Opelousas, La.) 1890-1921, July 27, 1901, Image 3 Died . - At Covington, La., on Saturday, July 20, 1901, at 4:30 o'clock p. m., Frank E. Bailey. His body was brought here on Sunday evening's train, and was interred in the Catholic cemetery. Mr. Bailey was for many years a prominent citizen of Opelousas, and left here a few years ago in the hope of rehabilitating his falling health. But the dread disease consumption, had made too much progress, and he returned here a few weeks ago in wretched state of health. He then went to Covington, but all to no avail. To the bereaved family, the Clarion extends its heartfelt sympathies. Additional Comments: NOTE: Frank E.
