Sister Mary Bartholomew, who had only assumed the veil eight months ago, died at 
the convent of the Immaculate Conception here Tuesday evening at 1 o'clock. She 
was loved by all, and her death caused grief in the hearts of the school children 
and cast a gloom over the Catholic community. She was interred in the Catholic 
cemetery here Wednesday evening. Peace to her gentle soul.
