George Batcheller Dead.

George Batcheller, a resident of this section of the country for the past 
twenty years, engaged in farming, and the brother of Worden Batcheller, died 
Wednesday morning at 9:35 on the John Marsh farm near this city.

Funeral service were held at the farm Thursday morning at 10:30 and 
interment was made in the Crowley cemetery. - Crowley Signal

George Batcheller was a brother of Willis E. Batcheller of Opelousas. Mr. 
Batcheller was unable to attend his brother's funeral on account of the 
illness of his wife.
