Charles Thompson Bihm

Died, at his residence, near Lawtell, La., at 4:30 a. m., Saturday, January 
29, 1921, Charles Thompson Bihm, aged 72 years, 4 months and 25 days. He 
leaves his wife, ten children, one adopted daughter, one sister, fifty-four 
grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was a very prominent man of 
this section of the parish, and was highly esteemed by all who knew him. The 
ceremony took place in Lawtell Catholic church at 10 a. m. Sunday, after 
which his remains were carried to the Catholic cemetery at Opelousas for 
burial. He was married to Emerite Richard fifty-one years ago.

Chas. Thompson Bihm - Died, at the family home, near Lawtell, last Saturday 
morning, Charles Thompson Bihm, aged 74 years. The funeral was held Sunday 
morning at the Lawtell Catholic church and interment in the Catholic 
cemetery in Opelousas.

Mr. Bihm was one of the old residents of the Plaquemine Ridge neighborhood 
and his absence will be keenly felt by the family, neighbors and friends. In 
every sense was he a splendid example of good citizenship. A native of St. 
Landry, he was a member of one of the oldest families. We tender our 
condolences to the family of the deceased.

Catholic Church cemetery located in Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.
