T. Blacksher, of Plaisance, La. Deceased was the wife of one of St. Landry's best known citizens, Mr. U. T. Blacksher, and has lived a long and christian life. Her remains were brought down on the noon train last Sunday, and the funeral procession formed at the depot and proceeded to the Methodist church, and from thence to the public cemetery where they were interred. We extend our heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family and sorrowing friends.
