Death of Mrs. Bobbitt.

Again the Tribune is called to chronicle the death in the person of Mrs. R. P. 
Bobbitt, which sad event occurred at her home in North Rayne Sunday night, 
January 24, at 11 o'clock. The venerable lady had reached the age of 68 years, 
and almost half of her life had resided in his (sic) section. She leaves a 
large circle of friends and relatives, who deeply deplore her loss. Her 
remains were escorted to her old home at Bellevue, in St. Landry parish, for 
interment Monday morning.

NOTE: Rebecca Purnell Sledge Bobbitt is buried at the Little Red Church 
Cemetery located in St. Landry Parish, LA.
