DIED - At Plaquemine Ridge, Oct. 13, 1886, HENRY BOUDREAU, son of Elisha 
Boudreau and Cora McClellan, aged 14 years.

The deceased was a boy of model habits and of decided promise to his parents 
and to his country. Everybody knew him as good, quiet youth, pious in his 
training and in his inclinations, obedient and loving to his father and mother, 
strong in his attachments to his young friends and associates, and a general 
favorite in the community in which he passed his short but noble life. His 
family are sorely stricken in his untimely loss, and he will be lamented by a 
large circle of friends. "Whom the gods love die young" is an old saying often 
verified in sorrow. We extend our sympathies to his bereaved relatives.
