DIED. - BOUTTE. - At his residence near Opelousas, Saturday, January 20, 1894, 
Vauchere Boutte, at the advanced age of 74 years, 9 months and 6 days.

Mr. Boutte was a well known citizen, and a descendant of the old Creole 
population. His death is mourned by all, his relatives and friends in 
particular. The Clarion extends its smypathy (sic) to the bereft family.
