She was 86, a native of Opelousas and a former resident of Hemphill, Texas. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and after 11 a.m. Monday. Religious services at the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Maynard Hurst. Interment in Roselawn Memorial Park. Survived by a daughter and a son-in-law, Barbara and Ulysess LaGrange, Houston; two sons and daughters-in-law, Alfred and Betty Perry and Gerald and Suzanne Perry, all of Baton Rouge; three sisters, Juanita Cuny, Opelousas, Mary Louise Middleton, Port Arthur, Texas, and Agatha Stonecipher, Spring, Texas; 12 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by first husband, Alfred Perry Sr.; second husband, George R. "Dick" Bowman; parents, Ernest and Mary Richard; a grandson, Gerald Perry Jr.; and two brothers, Earl and LaSalle Richard. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. She attended Our Lady of the Lake Chapel and St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
