Mrs. Conrad Brand.

The unexpected death last Saturday night of Mrs. Olympe V. Mornhinveg, widow of 
the late Conrad Brand, came as a shock to her relatives and friends. The 
deceased had reached the age of seventy-three years, but almost up to the hour 
of her death led an active life at her home among her flowers and fancy work, 
for, despite her age, she was never idle and it was her pleasure to devote her 
time to some useful occupation. Mrs. Brand leaves an adopted daughter and a 
number of relatives here and elsewhere, and in her will which was probated 
Thursday she left various bequests to those loved ones who survive. The funeral 
was held Sunday evening, with services at the Catholic church and interment in 
the public cemetery. A large concourse of relatives and friends followed her 
remains to their last resting place beside her deceased husband. The Clarion 
tenders its condolences to the bereaved relatives.
