Mr. Martin Budd, one of our most respected citizens, died here at the home of 
his son, J. A. Budd, last Saturday night, and was buried in the Catholic 
cemetery Sunday afternoon at 5 o'clock. "Pappy"," as he was called by those 
who were intimate with him, was a good, conscientious man, and possessed all 
the elements that go to make up the good citizen. He is survived by a family 
of children and grandchildren, who have the sympathy of the community in their 
bereavement. He was just past 63 years of age.
