Bullar, the aged mother of Mrs. Clara Perrault, died under distressing circumstances on Friday morning. The old lady had, for several months past, almost completely lost her mind, rendering it necessary to have an attendant to wait on and take care of her, and during the past three weeks or more she had been confined to her bed. On Thursday night she arose and taking a quilt with her, wandered away from home. She was discovered on Friday morning about two miles from town in the Burr lane, in a puddle of water, by Lester Burr, who lifted her out and went for assistance. She was still alive but expired as he returned and was about to wash her face. The general impression is that, being very weak, she became exhausted and the exposure and cold killed her. It is about three miles from her residence to where she was found. She was buried in the public cemetery on Friday evening. Mrs. Perrault has the sympathy of the community in her affliction.
