Necrology

Mrs. Theodose C. Chachere, nee Mary Leontine Gil, died at Eunice June 13, 
after a brief illness, and surrounded by many friends and relatives who did 
all in their power to alleviate her sufferings and to prolong her life - an 
active and useful life, unselfishly devoted to her loved ones.

Mrs. Chachere was a native of Baton Rouge and the widow by a former marriage 
of Mr. Louis Grandpre, a worthy scion of one of the historic families of 
that section. She was childless, but the friendless and the orphan always 
found in her a loving mother.

To her venerable husband and relatives the Courier extends sincerest 
sympathy.
