Chachere, born and raised in this city, but, for the last several years from Crowley and Jennings, died at his home, in Jennings, on last Friday evening, and was brought to this City, where he was entered in the Protestant Cemetery, Saturday evening. Mr. Chachere was born in Opelousas 47 years ago. He leaves a wife and ten children, two brothers, Dr. Homer Chachere, now residing in Houston, Texas, and Robert Chachere, of this city. The Clarion extends its condolence to the bereaved family. Additional Comments: NOTE: The newspaper mistakenly listed Louis Beaurepere Chachere as S. B. Chachere.
