The community was greatly shocked on Tuesday last to heat that Mr. Joseph Chachere, a highly respected and well-known farmer of West Bellevue, was dead. His death was brought about by a severe attack of pneumonia, and not old age, as some might suppose. He was the son of Veillon Chachere, who only died a couple of years ago. Mr. Chachere was interred in the Catholic cemetery Wednesday forenoon and his were followed to their last resting place by a large concourse of relatives and friends.
