Died.- At his residence, in Opelousas, on Wednesday night, September 11, 1901, 
Jules L. Chachere, aged 57 years.

Mr. Chachere was a prominent member of the large and influential family of that 
name in this parish. He has held several official positions, among them the 
postmastership of Opelousas. Mr. Chachere was a good man and his death is 
regretted by a host of friends and relatives.

The Clarion extends its heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved.

Jules L. Chachere was the son of Julien Lile Chachere and Emerante David.
