Collins, in the 26th, year of his age. He was a native of this place, where he has been favorably known by numerous relations and friends during his brief and blameless life. He removed several years ago, from this place to Texas, where he successfully embarked in business, and by **orm [paper torn] rectitude of deportment, secured to himself the confidence and affection of a new circle of friends--His unblemished character, his kindly disposition, and his active sympathies, were appreciated like at his native as adopted home. And while he has fallen victim to the scourge which has saddened so many presides; the associates of his earlier years, and those of more recent adoption, alike lament his untimely death; and will long continue to cherish the remembrance of his many virtues.
