The Clarion regrets to learn of the death at his residence, on Bayou Boeuf, on November 4th, at the ripe age of seventy-six years, three months and ten days. Mr. Daniel was one of the landmarks of that section of the parish, and his many kind acts and sound counsel will be greatly missed by his neighbors, who always looked upon him as their adviser in all matters. Always true to every trust, warm and steadfast in friendship, kind and charitable in disposition, he was universaly (sic) esteemed. He leaves several children to grieve over his death, among them being Mrs. (Dr.) Paul Foster, and the Clarion extends to them its sincere condolences. CARD OF THANKS.
