St. Landry Clarion (Opelousas, La.) 1890-1921, November 11, 1905, Image 3

Mr. Oliver Darbanne, an old citizen of Mallet, died on November 6, 1905, aged 
74 years. Deceased was an old Confederate soldier and a good citizen, and his 
loss is felt in his community. He leaves two boys and two girls to mourn his 
death.
