St. Landry Clarion (Opelousas, La.) 1890-1921, November 15, 1913, Image 5

DIED. - At his residence four miles west of Opelousas at 4 o'clock Monday 
morning Mr. Francois D'Avy, after a short illness. Mr. D'Avy was 67 years, 3 
months and 8 days old, and leaves many relatives in this parish.

The funeral took place from the residence of the deceased, the interment being 
made in the Catholic cemetery in this city.

A large number of friends and relatives of the deceased were present at the 
interment.

Additional Comments:
NOTE: Francois D'Avy, Jr. was the son of Francois D'Avy and Celima Comeaux. 
He is buried at the Saint Landry Catholic Church cemetery located in 
Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.
