St. Landry Clarion (Opelousas, La.) 1890-1921, August 09, 1902, Image 1

Died.

At Washington, La., on Wednesday evening, August 6, 1902, Clara Garrigues 
Dejean, widow of Damonville Dejean, aged 92 years and 8 months.

The remains were interred in the Catholic Cemetery, in Opelousas, on 
Thursday morning at ten o'clock.

Deceased was the mother of Mrs. A. Derbes, of Washington, and a lady highly 
esteemed. The Clarion extends its heartfelt condolences.

NOTE: Clara Garrigues Dejean is buried in section 11 of the Saint Landry 
Catholic Church cemetery located in Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.
