Arthur Taylor. Capt. Dejean was killed in the battle of Winchester, Va. on the 14th of June last, and Lieut. Taylor died of his wound, at Port Hudson, on the 9th of June. Both these officers were very much esteemed in their respective regiments, for their courage and patriotism. The death of capt. Dejean makes Lieut. Sumpter Taylor Captain of the Company.
