(Opelousas, La.) 1890-1921, December 21, 1912. Image 1 Died. - MRS. N. C. DEVILLIERS. Mrs. N. C. Devilliers, born Amynthe Devilliers, died at her late residence at Notleyville, at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon after a brief illness, and surrounded by her loved ones, who had done all in human power to have her life prolonged. She had attained the good age of three score years and eight, enjoying during that period fairly good health, and prosperity, brought about by her excellent habits of industry and frugality. The deceased was married about forty-five years ago to Mr. N. C. Devilliers, who preceeded her to the grave about fifteen years ago, She leaves four children, C. C. Devilliers, Armeid (Mrs. Andrew Arceneau) Alida (Mrs. Adam McBride) and Argentine (Mrs. Arthur Robin). The funeral services, which were attended by a large concourse of friends and relatives, were conducted by Rev. Father Engerbrink, at the St. Landry church in this city, after which the remains were laid to rest in the family tomb in the Catholic cemetery.
