St. Landry Clarion (Opelousas, La.) 1890-1921, January 13, 1912, Image 1

DOUCET. - At the family residence in Opelousas, on Tuesday, Jan. 9th, 1912, 
Herbert Doucet, aged 10 years.

Interment in Grand Prairie cemetery.

Little Herbert was stricken with appendicitis, and lived but a few days. His 
condition was such that he could not have stood being taken to New Orleans 
for an operation.

He was a son of Mr. Frank Doucet, the jailer, who lost his wife but a few 
months ago.

The Clarion deeply sympathizes with the stricken family.

Additional Comments:
NOTE: Herbert Doucet is buried in the Old Grand Prairie Cemetery located in 
Grand Prairie, St. Landry Parish, LA.
