The deceased was a man of worth, as was he a man of action. Energy and activity were characteristics of his well spent life. The qualities of his heart were equal to the (the sentence is in the crease of the newspaper, can not read the rest of sentence) principle, a warm and ardent friendship, inspired confidence and trust in all his undertakings. Devoted to family ties and sweet domestic home, he ever enjoyed the laborer's repose after labor, and the tender joy to tongues and faces loving and beloved.
