At Plaisance, La., there passed out of this life, Joseph Hector Dupre of Plaisance La., in this parish. Born two months ago when children are most interesting and lovable and the passing away of this loving angle has left a very barren and empty place in the hearts of its bereaved parents and all those who had learnt to love it. Culling alike "The ripened grain and the flowers that grow between" the grim Reaper goes his resistless way among us; and since his course cannot be resisted let us be glad that the rays of sunlight come rather than bemoan the clouds between and be thankful for the few months of love during our lives were enriched in watching the unfolding of this tender bud, thinking only of the joys that were and which but Him would never have been.
