MISS ALICE DUPRE SUCCUMBS

Miss Alice Dupre, aged 55 years, 7 months and 16 days, was called beyond the 
River of Death on last Thursday afternoon at 4:15 o'clock by the Grim 
Reaper.

The deceased was a daughter of the late C. L. Dupre, who was a prosperous 
and prominent planter of the Plaisance section of the parish. Miss Dupre was 
well known and highly respected by all in her neighborhood and her death is 
indeed a shock to the many friends of the Dupre family.

Funeral services were conducted from the residence of Mrs. C. L. Dupre, the 
aged mother of the deceased on Friday afternoon, interment being made in the 
Catholic cemetery in this city at 4:30 o'clock.

Additional Comments:
Marie Alice Dupre is buried in section 10 in the St. Landry Catholic Church 
cemetery located in Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.
