Godfrey Dupre Dies at the Hotel Dieu

Mr. Godfrey Dupre, of near Washington, died at the Hotel Dieu in New Orleans 
last Saturday from a complications of diseases.

Mr. Dupre was a life-long resident of this parish and there never was a man 
who had the respect and kind regard of his neighbors and friends that he 
possessed. His kindness and charity has helped to make the road for many 
others light and easy to travel and his passage to the other side will be 
made the easier for it.

Additional Comments:
NOTE: Godfrey Dupre is buried in section 11 of the Saint Landry Catholic 
Church cemetery located in Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.
