Mrs. Durel Dupre, a native of the Plaisance and Grand Prairie sections, died on Thursday evening and was buried in the Catholic Cemetery in this city, on Friday evening at 4 o'clock. The old lady was known far and wide as a lovable and charitable woman. She was the mother of several children, who are residents of this parish. Being a Deville before her wedding and by her marriage to Durel Dupre she was related to nearly everyone in the neighborhood. Mrs. Dupre left to mourn her departure, besides several children, 51 grandchildren and over two hundred great grand children. To the bereaved family the Clarion extends its condolences.
