Ruth T. Daly - Funeral services for Mrs. Frank Truman Daly, the former Ruth 
Thompson, will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday in Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home 
Chapel on the Old Sunset Road in Opelousas with burial in Myrtle Grove 
Cemetery.

The Rev. Duncan will conduct the services.

Mrs. Daly, a resident of Lake Charles and a native of Opelousas, died 
Tuesday in Lake Charles. She was a member of the Opelousas Garden Club, 
often judged Camelia and Flower Shows and a member of Westminster 
Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include: a son, Frank Thompson Daly of Opelousas; a daughter, Mrs. 
Marcus (Gladys) Pierson of Lake Charles; five grandchildren; and 11 great-
grandchildren.

Donations in the name of Mrs. Daly may be made to Westminster Presbyterian 
Church or a charity of choice.

Visiting hours will be held from 10 a. m. Thursday until time of services.

Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home on the Old Sunset Road in Opelousas is in charge 
of arrangements.
