Obituary.
Felix A. Fahey, born on Bayou Waxia, La., Sept. 26, 1859, died at his 
residence near Independence, Kansas, Dec. 9, 1886, aged 27 years, 2 months 
and 13 days.

How sad to part with those we love,
On earth so very dear:
The cord that bound us heart to heart is severed:
But God is near.
The little ones he loved so dear
Shall miss his presence too.
God's will be done; and why complain
He'll watch and guide us through.
Farewell, dear loved one! A last good-bye.
This parting gives me pain!
We trust in Him who gave and took,
That we shall meet again.
