LANDRY FAMILY DIES Mrs. Alice Lastrapes Fisher, a member of one of St. Landry's old and honored families, died at her home in Philadelphia on Thursday a week ago. Mrs. Fisher was 65 years of age. Her remains were buried in Philadelphia. Mrs. Fisher, formerly Miss Alice Lastrapes, of Washington, was the daughter of the late Louis F. Lastrapes and Irma Garrigue Lastrapes, and was one of eight children. A sister, Clara, died before, and she is survived by three sisters, Mrs. George Wykoff, Mrs. Ferdinand Wartelle and Miss Palmyre Lastrapes, all of Washington. Three brothers, Henry Lastrapes, Sr., of this city, and Adolphe and Paul Lastrapes, of Washington, also survive. The deceased moved to Philadelphia many years ago after her marriage to the late William Fisher. She is also survived by one daughter, Elise, who resides there. Mrs. Fisher visited relatives in St. Landry four or five years ago. She is remembered by those near her age as a very lovable woman, and her death was much deplored by many old friends.
