Adrien Fontenot Dead.

Adrien Fontenot died at his residence near Ville Platte on Wednesday, August 
1st, aged 63 years. He leaves a wife and nine children, all grown.

Mr. Fontenot had been in bad health for some time and his demise was not 
unexpected. He had apparently partly recovered, however, and was sitting on his 
gallery, when the end came suddenly, and he passed away without a struggle or 
pain.

Deceased was well-known in this parish, having taken an active part in politics 
all his life. He leaves many friends and relatives, who mourn his loss.
