St. Landry Clarion (Opelousas, La.) November 04, 1899, page 3
Died. - At the family residence, on Friday, Oct. 27, 1899, at 9 o'clock a. m., 
Helene Maude Littell, wife of W. S. Frazee, aged 31 years, 2 months and 21 days.

Mrs. Frazee's illness was of recent occurrence, and no one had any idea that it 
would culminate fatally in so short a period. The town was shocked at the news 
and her immediate family and many relatives grieved beyond expression. She 
leaves a devoted husband and two children to mourn her loss; and in their hour 
of bereavement they have the hearty sympathy of their host of many friends.
