Died. - By assasination, at his residence on Bayou Boeuf in this parish, on 
Saturday evening, the 19th. inst., EDWARD GALLEGAR, aged 35 years,

The deceased was a native of Ireland, but early in life emigrated to the United 
States and for the last five years had resided in this parish. He was a warm 
hearted friend, a good neighbor, and a kind affectionate husband. To his bereaved 
family, we tender our sincere condolence in their sad and tragic berevment.
