JOSEPH GARBO The community was shocked Sunday when the news was circulated of the sudden and unexpected death of Mrs. Joseph Garbo, born Marianian Divincenzo, aged 22 years, 3 months and 3 days. The funeral took place Monday afternoon, with services at the Catholic church and interment in the Catholic cemetery. The active pallbearers were Frank S. Garbo, brother of the deceased's husband; M. Lanasa and Marion Lanasa of New Orleans and Sam Marsiglia of Lafayette. Mr. and Mrs. Garbo had been happily married five years, all of which time they had resided in Opelousas, numbering practically everyone as their friends.
