BEULAH GAUDIN Died, at the home of her father, Sidney St. Amand, near Opelousas, on last Wednesday morning, Mrs. Beulah St. Amand, wife of J. V. Gaudin, aged 20 years, 10 months and 10 days. The funeral was held Thursday afternoon from the home of the deceased's parents, with services and interment at the Catholic Church and cemetery. Mrs. Gaudin's husband is serving in the army, being stationed at the time of the death of his young wife at a camp in New Jersey. The Clarion tenders its deepest sympathies to the bereaved young husband, father, mother and other relatives of the deceased. IN MEMORIAM: source: St. Landry Clarion. (Opelousas, La.) 1890-1921, November 08, 1919, Image 10 Beulah St. Amand Gaudin born in St. Landry parish about two miles from Opelousas on January 3, 1898. Died at her father's residence during Spanish Influenza on November 13, 1918. She is survived by her husband who has seen service over there. Beside she leaves her father, who is a well known planter for years of St. Landry, also a mother and five brothers. Beulah in her genial and sweet nature reflected the sunny skies of her parish and state sober, industrious, generous, her untimely removal from our midst leaves a distinct void. Poor heart, she slumbers in her silent tomb. Let her pass in peace that narrow room. Friends and relatives are invited to attend to mass which will be said for the repose of her soul on November 13th, 1919, at 9 o'clock, JOSEPH V. GAUDIN AND HER FAMILY. Additional Comments: NOTE: Beulah St. Amand Gaudin is buried in section 10 of the Saint Landry Catholic Church cemetery located in Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana. She is the daughter of Sidney Louis St. Amand and Antonine Boudourquie, who married 12 Jan. 1897. Sidney Louis is the son of Ernest St. Amand and Mary Lambert. Antonine is the daughter of Adolf Boudourquie and Amelia Combre.
