HAGERTY DIED IN WASHINGTON SATURDAY Mrs. Mary Chenier, widow of the late J. D. Hagerty, died at the family home in Washington, this parish, last Saturday morning at 5:30 o'clock, aged 77 years, 8 months and 25 days. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon with services at the Catholic Church in that town and interment in the old cemetery. The deceased was one of a prominent family of her home town, her brother, the late Joseph Chenier, having died at the age of over eighty years at his home in Oberlin several years ago. Several of her relatives reside in both Oberlin and Lake Charles, and to these The Clarion tenders its sympathies.
