Mrs. Constance Guidry, relic of Richard Keough, died at her home, in Opelousas, on Monday evening at 2 o'clock, aged 72 years, 5 months and 2 days. The death of this esteemed and beloved old lady is much bemourned by the many to whom were known her shining traits of character - her Christian life, kind and charitable heart and her loving and forgiving disposition. The funeral cortege left the residence of her son-in-law, J. Raoul Pavy, at 3:30 o'clock Tuesday morning for the Catholic Church, where the funeral rites were solemnized, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Catholic Cemetery. The bereaved ones have the heartfelt sympathy of the Clarion.
