St. Landry Clarion (Opelousas, LA) Jan. 6, 1894, pg. 1
DIED- At New Iberia, La., on Monday, Jan. 1st, 1894, Gilbert Leonce Labyche. 
The corpse was brought up on the evening train and the funeral took place from 
the residence of Mr. H. E. Estorge, his relative, on Tuesday morning, and the 
interment was made in the Catholic cemetery.
