Creamer marykcreamer@yahoo.com August 15, 2015, 2:33 am St. Landry Clarion (Opelousas, La.) 1890-1921, December 13, 1902, Image 1 -Mr. Paul Lambert died at his home in Plaisance last Friday, December 5th, aged 63 years. Mr. Lambert was an old landmark of that section, having been born there and made that his home during life. He was a Creole gentleman of the old school, polite, kind, well educated. He had taught school in the little school house sitting by the Ville Platte road for over forty years, and nearly all those possessing an education in that section got it from "Old Paul Lambert," Peace to his soul.
