Miss Clara Lastrapes, aged 81 died at the home of Mr. Leo Rogers in Washington on last Tuesday morning at 3 o'clock. Miss Lastrapes was the eldest sister of Henry Lastrapes, Sr., of this city, and was connected prominently in this parish. She was a very charitable woman. She reared Mr. Rogers from infancy and resided with him until her death. The funeral took place in the Catholic cemetery at Washington on Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock.
