Matteo Lipati, a resident of this city for the past fifteen years, died at 
his home on Saturday, August 14, at 1:45 P. M., and was buried in the 
Catholic cemetery, Sunday, August 15.

Mr. Lipari was born in Marsale, Italy, June 8, 1863, having moved to the 
United States when he was twenty-five years of age where he has been in 
business ever since. He is survived by a widow and two children, Mrs. 
Charles Fazzino and Frank Lipari and the following grand-children: Charles 
Lipari of Opelousas, Frank Lipari of Kansas City and Mrs. Jeannette Polite 
of Opelousas.

NOTE: Matteo Lipari is buried in section 4 of the Saint Landry Catholic Church 
cemetery located in Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.
