DIED:	

Lyons- At his residence on Plaquemine Brules, in St. Landry parish, 
July 2d, 1876, of congestion of the stomach, Gabriel Lyons.
The deceased was one of the oldest and most respected citizens of St.
Landry Parish, an honest man, and a sincere Christian.  His death is
mourned by a large circle of relatives, and by hosts of friends.
Peace to his ashes.
