The Opelousas Courier (Opelousas, La.) 1852-1910, July 25, 1896, Image 1

L. V. Major, a native of Pointe Coupee parish, but for many years a resident 
of Opelousas, died Friday morning from typhoid fever. Deceased leaves a wife 
and several young children to mourn his death.

NOTE: Leo V. Major is buried at the Saint Landry Catholic Church cemetery 
located in Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.
