DIED. - In Prairie Faquetaique, at the residence of her son, Valentin Savoye, on 
May 17th, 1891, at 3 o'clock, A.M. EUGENIE RIDER, aged 84 years. The deceased was 
born in St. Landry parish, and always lived in said parish, and had many friends 
and relatives, and always held in the highest estimation by all, and was followed 
by many people to her funeral on the 18th inst.
