Mrs. Azema Medecis - Died, at the home of Antoine St. Cyr, on the Little 
Teche, last Monday morning at 1 o'clock, Mrs. Azema Medecis, nee Robin, aged 
92 years. The funeral was held at the Catholic church in Opelousas Monday 
afternoon, with interment in the Catholic cemetery. The deceased was one of 
the oldest residents and natives of this parish and was the mother of Martin 
Medecis, who himself has passed the age of three score and ten and is a 
veteran of the civil war. She leaves other relatives to mourn her passing and 
to them the Clarion tenders it condolences.
