(Opelousas, La.) 1890-1921, January 15, 1916, Image 1 DIED. R. M. MILSTED, SR. R. M. Milsted, Sr., one of the best known old residents of this parish, expired at his residence in this city on last Wednesday afternoon at 4:40 o'clock, after an illness of several months duration. Mr. Milsted was 62 yaars (sic), 1 month and 7 days old. Until a yeer (sic) ago he did not show his age, but when he suffered a general break down he rapidly vanished into a practical invalid, untill (sic) the end came on Wednesday evening. Mr. Milsted was well and generally known throughout the parish. His funeral, although during very severe weather, was well attended. interment being made in the St. Landry Catholic cemetery.
